The Florida International Museum is thrilled to be the first stop on the North American tour of Vatican Splendors from St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums and Swiss Guard. The limited engagement of this magnificent exhibition is February 9 thru May 11, 2008.

Vatican Splendors presents unique objects illustrating the Vatican 's impact on history and culture through 2,000 years. The timing of this exhibition commemorates the 500 th anniversary of Saint Peter's Basilica, the founding of the Vatican Museums; Michelangelo's painting of the Sistine Chapel ceiling and the establishment of the Swiss Guard.
